On a leading textile plant with 18 t/hr steam boiler requirement we designed operation with just an 8 t/hr boiler only since 9 t/hr steam was designed to recover from waste drain of bleaching/mercerizing'pad steam dyeing machines. On the same plant with 2 gas turbines the same 8 t/hr boiler went on stand-by since 8 t/hr steam was generated free from the exhaust with waste heat recovery boilers. Plus 9 t/hr free steam from waste drain. B. At one textile plant, we saved 33% of boiler operation time & 1 complete shift = 33% fuel saving at boiler with 33% production increase. C.
